Pricing of Cartoon Images and Animations

Licenses to use CartoonStock cartoon images and animations vary in price depending on the use [please note, all prices exclude VAT (sales tax) which will be chargeable at the appropriate rate for sales in the EU and will not be chargeable outside the EU].
All image prices are for the supply of a printable image in JPEG format with a largest dimension of at least 1800 pixels. Other formats can be supplied on request.
All animation prices are for the supply of a downloadable animation converted from the original in a range of video formats. After licensing an animation, you will be given access to download it at the resolution of your choice (up to the maximum resolution per your shopping cart for that animation) in any of these video formats: FLV, MPG, MP4, MOV, WMV.
Each license fee covers only one permitted use (except for image Categories 1 and 4 and animation Categories V2 and V5) - re-use in different publications/circumstances will require another license fee to be paid.

This license does allow repeated uses by the same educator/student. A blog is defined as a regularly updated weblog, updated at least weekly and presented in a "diary" format sorted by date. It may be hosted on the user's own web server, or through a third party blogging service such as Blogger.com. A social networking website is defined as a template-driven personal web page hosted within a larger webspace with a view to social networking, examples of such sites are MySpace.com, Bebo.com or Facebook.com. A forum post is defined as a single entry as part of a discussion on a web forum or chat group.
Your blog, social networking page or the forum may take advertising managed by the hosting website as a whole, but if advertising on it is managed by yourself and the resulting revenue earned directly by yourself, or the page or forum post is intended for commercial gain by promoting the writer's business or selling products or services, then this would constitute a commercial blog, social networking page or forum post and fall under our license category 3a.

This license covers an unlimited number of uses by the licensing individual and the production of a total of up to 1,000 presentation handouts for a period of one year. This license also covers use for training and educational presentations by commercial (for profit) training companies/organisations. This license excludes use in company reports or newsletters with a print run of over 1,000 and all business brochures which fall under our "Commercial Editorial" licenses 6-10.

If you are interested in using our images, or part of any of our images for marketing, advertising, merchandise, book and magazine covers or other purposes which do not fit into the above categories, please contact CartoonStock with details and we will quote a price based on your specific use.
Original Drawings:
Original drawings are available for most of our cartoons. Subject to availability, the price for original black and white artwork is GBP95.00 (plus VAT, Dollar/Euro?) and for color, GBP150.00 (plus VAT, Dollar/Euro?).
To enquire about availability of original artwork, either contact us with the catalogue reference for the image or add the image to your shopping basket in the usual manner, then click "View Shopping Basket" and press the button to "Select Merchandise". You can then use the link on the gifts checkout page to send a request to confirm availability. We will recontact you (usually the same business day) to confirm availability and size/format for the artwork and complete the order if you wish to proceed.
Redrawing / Colouring:

For Polish language publications published in Poland, deduct 28% from the above prices.
